Mit einem Muffler aus exquisitem Kohlefaser, einer Endkappe und einem Hitzeschild sowie einer hochwertigen Edelstahl-Innenstruktur und Verbindungsrohr, ermöglicht dieses Auspuffsystem eine Gewichtsreduktion von 2,9 kg im Vergleich zum Standardauspuffsystem. Dies trägt nicht nur zur Optik bei, sondern verbessert auch die Gesamtleistung des Motorrads.

Während der Entwicklungsphase konzentrierten sich die Ingenieure von Akrapovic auf die Throttle-Response, die Fahrbarkeit und eine gesteigerte Performance. Es wurden Leistungssteigerungen im mittleren und hohen Drehzahlbereich erzielt, mit einem Leistungszuwachs von 5,9 kW (8,0 PS) bei 13.700 U/min und einem Drehmomentanstieg von 5,0 Nm bei 6.400 U/min, verglichen mit einem Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R, das mit einem Standardauspuff ausgestattet und auf dem Akrapovic-Prüfstand getestet wurde.

Der Auspuff erzeugt einen lebendigen Rennklang und ist eine Plug-and-Play-Montage, ohne dass eine Neukartierung erforderlich ist. Optionale Erweiterungen wie eine Halterung aus Kohlefaser für den Schalldämpfer und ein zusätzliches Verbindungsrohr sind verfügbar, um die Leistung weiter zu steigern.
