Zind-Humbrecht bewirtschaftet seine Hengst-Parzellen biodynamisch und erzeugt einen Riesling, der Opulenz und Mineralitaet auf eindrucksvolle Weise verbindet.

Leuchtendes Goldgelb. Die Nase entfaltet reifen Pfirsich, Zitrusschale, Gewuerze und eine cremige Kalksteinnote. Am Gaumen ist der Wein fuellig und breit mit einer sahnigen Textur, die sich vom schlanken Clos Windsbuhl deutlich abhebt. Bei 13 % Alkohol hat er Substanz und Nachdruck. Die Saeure ist praesent, aber eingebettet in eine opulente Frucht. Langes, wuerziges Finish.

Ein Grand Cru fuer die kraeftige Kueche: Geflugel in Rahmsosse, Currents mit Kokosmilch oder einen gereiften Gruyere. Auch zu elsaessischem Baeckeoffe eine klassische Kombination.
