Der Name wurde bereits 1726 auf Flaschenetiketten erwähnt. Das 7 Hektar grosse Gelände liegt auf etwa 90 bis 100 Metern über dem Meeresspiegel und ist direkt nach Süden zum Rhein hin ausgerichtet. Auf Grund des tiefgründigen Bodens und der Nähe zum Rhein überwältigt der Marcobrunner Wein geradezu mit Saftigkeit, Finesse und barocker Opulenz. Kraftvoller und zugleich sehr eleganter Riesling mit Aromen von Kern- und Steinobst. Die feine Pfirsichnote ist bereits sehr ausgeprägt und zeigt ein feines Fruchtspiel. Sämtliche 23er Grossen Gewächse wurden bei Künstler mit Schraubverschluss abgefüllt.
