Der Geräte VOTRONIC Battery Protector 40 wird zwischen Versorgungsbatterie und Verbraucher geschaltet und sind für alle Bleibatterie-Typen (Säure, Gel, AGM) und -Fabrikate geeignet. Sie schützen die Batterie vor gefährlicher Tiefentladung sowie die Verbraucher und Ausrüstung vor Unter- und Überspannung und können, von einem externen Schalter gesteuert, auch noch als fernbedienbare Batterie-Hauptschalter dienen, z,B. an den Bedienpanels der Votronic VPC Serie .

NOT-EIN Funktion über Schalter am Gerät, durch externen Schalter auch fernbedienbar
Automatische Rücksetzung, sobald sich die Batteriespannung wieder im normalen Bereich befindet (Ladung)
Separates Fühlerkabel und Schaltschwellen mit Hysterese und Timerfunktionen für störungsfreie Funktion
Bistabiles Leistungsrelais, sehr geringer Eigenverbrauch, weniger als 3 mA (nach EN 13976)
Kein Eigenverbrauch bei Abschaltung über externen Schalter, z.B. Fernbedienung als Batterie-Hauptschalter
Solide Schraubklemmen für Batterie- und Last- Kabelquerschnitte bis 10 mm²
Ausführung „Motor“ mit höheren Abschaltschwellen erhält die Startfähigkeit bei Einsatzfahrzeugen mit nur einem Batteriekreis nach DIN EN 1789
